The idea behind t&d is for it so serve as a soapbox to my rants and ramblings about whatever is on my mind or in the news. With any luck, I’ll be able to clearly articulate my thoughts in a way that will provoke discussion and reflection.

Up to this point, the blog has served mostly as a catalog of stories and topics that I find interesting–a sort of personal reference that I can look back and reflect on. Ideally, my hope is that some of this would spark some interesting conversations and debates… so far (and completely understandably), this hasn’t really happened due to the broad scope of topics (it’s certainly not a niche blog) and obscurity (let’s face it: I’m a 23 year old a year out of college with nothing to my name and no credentials to be regarded as anything even close resembling an “expert” on any subject).

I’m not really sure in what direction this blog will go: whether it will simply continue to serve as a personal reference point and barometer, or whether I’ll find an as-of-yet untapped interwebs niche to exploit and explore. Stay tuned to find out…
